The End/Beginning

This post shall be the last of this blog. It hasn’t really been used much, and pretty soon we’ll shut it down for good. City of Recovery Press long since moved to its own website (www.cityofrecovery.com) and now it has become Beatdom Books (www.books.beatdom.com).

New Beatdom Website

If you haven’t already seen it, go check out the new Beatdom website at www.beatdom.com. It’s far easier to navigate, and more interactive than previous versions.

Lack of Posting

Once again we must offer our apologies… We have been busy putting together the new Beatdom blog and preparing for the release of Beatdom’s long-awaited eighth issue.

The Sickness Which Started Him Typing…

Kyle Chase’s new book of poems, The sickness which started him typing… is moving closer to its anticipated release. Here, for the first time, you can see the book’s cover:

Kyle’s poems have been featured in Beatdom magazine, Finding the Beat, and other publications. You can read more about him at his blog.

Zoning Cover

Spencer Kansa’s novel, Zoning, is set to be released by CoRP in 2011. Here’s a first look at its cover, replete with endorsement by the late, great William S. Burroughs:

The Burroughs quote says: “Zoning reads like an urban Céline.

Spencer Kansa

Beatdom contributor Spencer Kansa is all set to release his long awaited novel, Zoning, with City of Recovery Press. Zoning will hopefully be released next year.

In a few week you’ll be able to read his newest work, a biography of Marjorie Cameron, called Wormwood Star. Here’s the cover:
