The End/Beginning

This post shall be the last of this blog. It hasn’t really been used much, and pretty soon we’ll shut it down for good. City of Recovery Press long since moved to its own website (www.cityofrecovery.com) and now it has become Beatdom Books (www.books.beatdom.com).

Lack of Posting

Once again we must offer our apologies… We have been busy putting together the new Beatdom blog and preparing for the release of Beatdom’s long-awaited eighth issue.

Spencer Kansa

Beatdom contributor Spencer Kansa is all set to release his long awaited novel, Zoning, with City of Recovery Press. Zoning will hopefully be released next year.

In a few week you’ll be able to read his newest work, a biography of Marjorie Cameron, called Wormwood Star. Here’s the cover:

Beatdom #7

The new Beatdom is now available. As usual, it’s free to download or available in print for a reasonable fee. Check out www.beatdom.com for more details.

This issue is a music-themed one and features essays about Hunter S. Thompson, Allen Ginsberg, William S. Burroughs and their musical influences. We also look at Bob Dylan, Tom Waits, Patti Smith, David Bowie and their relationships with literature.

To buy the magazine, please take a look at the brand new CoRP store.
